Reiner Westby
Reiner Westby is responsible for developing proprietary research and analytics across various disciplines, including capital markets, macroeconomic and individual security analysis for Dakota’s investment team. Employing a mosaic approach, he integrates qualitative, quantitative, and fundamental research methodologies to inform the firm’s investment views. In addition to his research responsibilities, Reiner is a member of the portfolio management team overseeing Dakota’s proprietary strategies. With a specialty in quantitative processes, Reiner has become an invaluable member of the team providing insight into both asset allocation and individual security decisions.
Prior to joining Dakota, Reiner served as an Investment Strategy Analyst at Glenmede Trust Company, where he conducted analyses of capital markets and economic conditions. Reiner also gained experience in multifamily real estate investing with NJ-based private equity firm Lexerd Capital.
Reiner earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance and Business Analytics from Drexel University. At Drexel, he served as president of the Society of Security Analysts (SSA) and was a member of the Real Estate Club. Reiner is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)®, a credential recognized globally for its focus on advanced investment analysis and disciplined portfolio management.
