DAKOTA WEALTH GROWS TO $7.8 BILLION IN ASSETS WITH ACQUISITION OF LINDENWOLD ADVISORS
The five-member team will merge with Dakota and serve clients from the Reading, PA, office. The acquisition marks Dakota’s continued presence in the Philadelphia area.
DAKOTA WEALTH MANAGEMENT ACQUIRES LOKKEN INVESTMENT GROUP
Dakota Wealth Management announced its acquisition of the Lokken Investment Group, a highly respected advisory firm based in Lewes, Delaware. With the addition of their $455 million in managed assets, Dakota’s assets under management will be nearly $7.5 billion.
DAKOTA WEALTH MANAGEMENT ADDS THIRD MASSACHUSETTS FIRM WITH ACQUISITION OF C2C WEALTH MANAGEMENT, LLC
Founder Louis Della Valle and team join Dakota Wealth managing approximately $350 million in assets in Mansfield, MA. The team also advises on an additional $550 million of client assets.
DAKOTA WEALTH MANAGEMENT ACQUIRES LEDGE WEALTH MANAGEMENT, INC.
Kurt Durrwachter, founder and CEO of Sartell, MN-based Ledge Wealth, joined Dakota Wealth along with COO and partner Gina K. Bartell and six associates. Ledge Wealth is an RIA managing approximately $400 million in addition to $200 million through its 401(k) advisory services business.
DAKOTA WEALTH ACQUIRES JMG Wealth Management Group
Jeffrey M. Goyette Sr., founder and CEO of Mechanicsburg, PA-based JMG Wealth Management Group, an independent advisory firm with $300 million in AUM, joins Dakota Wealth along with his team.
DAKOTA WEALTH ACQUIRES JONATHAN D. POND LLC
Jonathan D Pond, founder and CEO of Newton, MA-based Jonathan D. Pond, LLC, an RIA with approximately $350 million in AUM, joins Dakota Wealth along with team members Nicolé Keane and John Annino.
DAKOTA WEALTH ACQUIRES STILLWATER INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT
James K. Tonrey, Jr., founder and CEO of Stillwater, MN-based Stillwater Investment Management, an RIA with approximately $575 million in AUM, joins Dakota Wealth along with team members Amy Enderlein, Eric Bratvold, and Dana Tonrey. The acquisition brings Dakota Wealth’s AUM to approximately $3.2 billion.
Dakota Wealth celebrates its fifth anniversary with an Employee Appreciation Summit at PGA National Resort & Spa and Annual Shareholder Presentation and Gala at The Country Club at Mirasol.
DAKOTA WEALTH ACQUIRES LOVELESS WEALTH MANAGEMENT
Donald S. Loveless, president and founder of Billings, MT-based Loveless Wealth Management, an RIA with approximately $275 million in AUM, joins Dakota Wealth along with team members Brian Suskevich, Betsy Rector, and Hillary Lester.
Dakota hosts its 2022 Investment Committee/Advisory Team Summit at PGA National Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Members of our investment committee and advisory teams were immersed in two days of internal discussions, guest speakers, and social activities.

David Strachan joins our North Shore team in Massachusetts as a Senior Wealth Advisor.
Dakota Wealth Management Acquires Pineno Levin & Ford Asset Management
Frank Pineno and Jeff Levin, co-founders of Richmond, VA-based PL&F, an investment management firm with approximately $425 million in AUM, join Dakota Wealth along with team members, Scott McFadden, Bethany Levin, and Terri Borzelleca. The acquisition brings Dakota Wealth’s AUM to approximately $2.5 billion.
DAKOTA WEALTH ACQUIRES VIRGINIA-BASED AMERICAN CAPITAL PLANNING
Bonnie Ashby Sewell, founder and lead advisor of American Capital Planning, a boutique financial planning firm managing approximately $66 million in Leesburg, VA, joins Dakota Wealth with relationship manager Jessie Hughes. This is the first Virginia office for Dakota Wealth.
DAKOTA WEALTH GROWS TO $1.7 BILLION IN ASSETS WITH ACQUISITION OF PERSIMMON CAPITAL MANAGEMENT.
Greg Horn founded Persimmon Capital in 1998, managing $270 million in assets with a goal for greater growth under the Dakota umbrella. The acquisition marks Dakota’s first presence in the Philadelphia area.
DAKOTA WEALTH MANAGEMENT ADDS SYRACUSE TEAM
Robert Pavlik Joins Dakota Wealth Management
Robert Pavlik, frequent guest contributor of CNBC and quoted regularly in major news outlets, joins Dakota Wealth Management. Mr. Pavlik manages approximately $70 million in assets.
Dakota Wealth grows to $ 1 billion in assets with the acquisition of Springside Partners.
Carina Diamond founded Springside Partners in Akron, Ohio, with her partners Brenda Hood and Patrick Hahn. The firm served individuals, families and not-for-profit clients with unbiased investment and financial planning advice. Joining Dakota Wealth was a natural transition culturally and strategically, as both Carina and Dakota CEO Peter Raimondi have long histories of developing young talent and serving a diverse client base.

William Mikus started his investment advisory firm MCM, Inc. in 1992 building on his experience as a proprietary trader and investment banker at two leading global financial firms. After focusing on institutional quality investment management and risk mitigation for 24 years at Mikus Capital Management, Bill joined Peter Raimondi to provide a deep wealth management platform that will satisfy the most sophisticated investor.
Brett Orvieto of Strategic Asset Management joins Dakota
Dakota’s mission takes another step forward as Brett Orvieto joins from Strategic Asset Management Group (SAM Group), a wealth management firm his father Brad co-founded over 20 years ago. Brett brings his long-time clients into the Dakota family, continuing SAM Group’s decades-long legacy of providing valuable counsel and personalized investment management.
Oakmont Partners founded by Peter Mawn & Myranda O’Bara – grows to over $300 million in assets
Oakmont Partners was founded in the Boston area to provide clients with highly personalized wealth management services. Before joining Oakmont, each of the partners had distinguished careers serving affluent clients at the most highly regarded global financial institutions. Together at Oakmont, Peter and Mimi built their firm to $320 million in assets.
Banyan Partners founded by Peter Raimondi – grows to $4.3 billion in assets
Banyan Partners, which focused on investment management for affluent individuals, grew to $4.5 billion in just eight years, thanks to Peter’s leadership in spearheading a world-class team, inclusive work environment, organic client growth and seven successful acquisitions. Attracted by Banyan’s reputation, culture and success, Boston Private acquired the firm in 2014.
The Colony Group founded by Peter Raimondi – grows to $1 billion in assets
At age 30, Peter Raimondi founded the Boston-based Colony Group, a multi-service wealth management firm. With a firm of 55 professionals Peter built a firm widely known for expertise in Executive Financial Counseling, Estate Planning and Tax Compliance.
