Jessie Hughes
As the Director of Marketing at Dakota, Jessie is always on the lookout for innovative strategies to elevate the brand’s presence in the market. With her keen eye for trends and passion for creativity, she inspires her team to think outside the box and embrace bold ideas.
Before joining Dakota, Jessie served as a relationship manager at American Capital Planning, which Dakota acquired in October 2021. In this role, she managed the firm’s daily operations while providing support to clients.
With nearly a decade of management experience in senior living, Jessie has helped senior citizens navigate and plan their retirement. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Clemson University and a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from the University of North Carolina – Charlotte. In her transition from a leadership position in senior living to comprehensive wealth management, Jessie obtained the designation of Certified Financial PlannerTM.
Residing in Williamsburg, VA with her family, Jessie enjoys exploring local history and traveling to new destinations. She serves as a Panhellenic Advisor for Chi Omega Sorority at William and Mary.
